Former Ryder Cup captain Paul Azinger didn't mince his words when asked about Tiger Woods' recent outburst at the Masters.
Tiger Woods shortly after his outburst at Augusta on Friday.
Woods apologised the next day for an incident at the 16th hole on Friday when he cursed and kicked his club after a poor shot to the green, but Azinger wasn't impressed.
"Tiger's antics this week were an embarrassment to the game, to the membership at Augusta," he said. "I was really disappointed to see him carry on that way. He's not trying to endear himself to anybody... I thought he acted like the south-end half of a northbound mule.
Some reports suggest that Woods travelled to the Bahamas after his win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational to develop a high draw shot - against the advice of his swing coach Sean Foley.
"I think his brain is full of swing thoughts, not swing feelings," Azinger added.
"I can't compare my career to Tiger Woods' career, for sure, but I'll say this: in the 28 years I've played golf for a living I've never been as lost as he looked out there."
