A clearly frustrated Tiger Woods fell off the pace at the US Open on Saturday after a third-round 75.
The 36-year-old, who is trying to win his first major title in four years, started the day at Olympic club in a tie for the lead, but now finds himself five shots behind Graeme McDowell and Jim Furyk heading into the final round.
Woods' accuracy of the first two days deserted him as he bogeyed four of the first eight holes and two of the last three to finish the day on four over par.
"It was frustrating. I struggled on the greens quite a bit - they looked quick, but they putted slow," said Woods.
"It was just one of those days where I was right in between clubs on about every single shot.
"I'm just going to have to shoot a good round, post early and see what happens.
"It's not like where you have to go out there and shoot 62 and 63. This is a US Open - you just need to hang around.
"I'm definitely still in the ball game. I'm only five back and that's certainly doable on this golf course for sure."
