Fresh from winning the Ryder Cup with the rest of the European team, Lee Westwood has decided to take it easy over the next few days.
Lee Westwood: Taking it easy
The Englishman has decided to pull out of this week's Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland as he looks to recover from Europe's dramatic victory over the Americans at Medinah on Sunday.
Westwood won the tournament in 2003 and his withdrawal leaves only three members of the European side in the Dunhill field with Paul Lawrie, Peter Hanson and Martin Kaymer set to be joined by Dustin Johnson - a member of America's Ryder Cup team - in the line-up.
Lawrie won the Dunhill Links in 2001 while German Kaymer, who holed the putt that kept the trophy in European hands, was champion in 2009.
South African Olympic and Paralympic sprinter Oscar Pistorius and American swimmer Michael Phelps are among the stars from other sports taking part in the pro-am format.
The first three days are at St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns, then the leaders play the final round back at St Andrews.
