Rory McIlroy, Luke Donald and Marc Warren share the lead after the second round of the DP World Tour Championship.
McIlory and Warren both shot 67s to join Donald - the leader overnight - on eleven-under-par.
After shooting a 65 on Thursday, Donald began with a birdie and finished with one too, but was only able to muster two further birdies in a solid rather than spectacular round.
Like Donald, McIlroy began well, birding the second and third only to bogey the fourth. It proved to be the world number one's only dropped shot though as he added a further four birdies.
Warren looked set to finish slightly off the pace, but birdies at 15 and 16 kept him on level pegging with his playing partner, Donald.
The South African duo of Branden Grace and Louis Oosthuizen find themselves one back on ten-under, with Grace producing a fine round of 65 that began with three birdies on the trot.
Scot Richie Ramsay and another South African, Charl Schwartzel, are a further shot adrift.
Earlier, Sergio Garcia matched the course record of 64 in an incredible round that included nine birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey. Such a showing sees the Spaniard back in the mix on seven-under having opened with a 73.
Lee Westwood was unfortunately moving in the other direction with the Englishman's 74 seeing him drop back to three-under.
