If Branden Grace, Sunday's big winner at the Volvo Golf Champions, was walking around on Monday with his head in the clouds, you could hardly blame him.
Grace has done it! It's Sunday and he has just sunk the winning putt at the Volvo Golf Champions.
There can't be too many golfers who can claim to have beaten the likes of South Africa's legendary double US Open champions Ernie Els and Retief Goosen in the same play-off, won back-to-back European Tour events at the start of a season and soared 179 places on the World Rankings list in not much more than a week.
From a humble 271st in the rankings after he had won his way back into top-rank competition at the European Tour's annual Q-School late last year, Grace rocketed to 164th with his maiden European Tour victory at the Joburg Open some eight days ago and then, this weekend past, really earned that much used headline, 'Amazing Grace' when took on most of the cream of Europe in the tournament-winners only Volvo Champions, including Els and Goosen, and won again to move in amongst the elite of the World's top hundred at No 92.
The fact that the George-born-and-bred Grace pulled off his weekend coup in what was practically his own back garden - Fancoourt Golf Resort and its top-ranked The Links course are two of George's most famous landmarks - only served to sweeten Grace's achievements which could so easily be life changing.
Charl Schwartzel, who led for part of the final day, but then ran into trouble with a bogey and double bogey, didn't win this time, but his 5th place finish at Fancourt on Sunday has helped him take a step-up over the USA's Dustin Johnson and move to No 8 in the World with Johnson, who withdrew from this weekends US PGA Tour's Humana Challenge at La Quinta because of injury, sliding back to 9th.
The were was no other movement among the World top 10 this week - England's Luke Donald and Lee Westwood, Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy and German Martin Kaymer, in that order, continued to dominate the World Rankings this week with Tiger Woods, the former long-time owner of the No 1 spot, continuing to occupy the 25th place behind Kim Kyung-Tae, Asia's second highest ranked golfer behind KJ Choi (14th).
Mark Wilson, who won his 5th US PGA Tour title at the Humana Challenge, didn't hoist himself by anything like as many places as Grace did this week, but he will be more than happy with his Monday ranking promotion.
He has moved from 57th to 40th and into that all-important Top-50 rankings bubble that, for as long as he stays there, ensures him of a place in all the majors and in almost event other event of note.
