The world's best female golfer, Yani Tseng, could find herself participating in a men's event on the PGA Tour next year.

Sidney Wolf, the general chairman of the PGA Tour's Puerto Rico Open, has revealed that he intends to offer Tseng an exemption to play in the tournament, which takes place at the Trump International Golf Club, Rio
Grande, in 2012.
Wolf revealed his reasons for the decision to GolfWeek.
"Having the number one player here would open our event to a broader audience," he said.
"It could open up the possibility of a LPGA event here, and ultimately help us raise funds for our charities.
"It would also create awareness of Puerto Rico globally, which would economically be very positive for the island."
22-year-old Tseng from Taiwan is undoubtedly the best female golfer on the planet at present, having picked up seven LPGA victories - two of which were majors - and 11 worldwide victories in all, in 2011 alone.
Speaking at the halfway mark of the Suzhou Taihu Ladies Open in China last weekend, an event she ended up winning by seven shots, Tseng told reporters that she would like to have a chance to play in a men's event.
"If an opportunity presents itself, I would like to play in a PGA tournament to learn more from male golfers," she said.
And she might well get that opportunity next year.
