Stacy Lewis held off a late challenge by Na Yeon Choi to win the HSBC Women's Champions in Singapore on Sunday.
Stacey Lewis: Champion material
Lewis, who experienced considerable difficulty on Sunday, carded a one-under-par 71 for the final round to secure a one shot victory.
Her win was thanks in part to her individual brilliance at the seventh hole, where she holed an eagle putt which helped her to 15 under par for the tournament.
For Choi, the images at the Sentosa Golf Club must have seemed all too familiar as she was a runner up at this event last year. On that occasion, she lost to Angela Stanford in a thrilling playoff.
The only other player to challenge Lewis at the Sentosa Golf Club this week was American Paula Creamer, who had a share of the lead for a brief spell on the final day.
However, her inferior putting on the back nine proved her undoing, as she finished the tournament two shots behind the winner.
Former winner Karrie Webb shot 69 on the final day, which helped her finish in a tie for 18th at four under par.
