Japan's Ai Miyazato secured her eighth career LPGA title with a four-shot win at the LPGA Lotte Championship.
A final-round two-under-par 70 at Ka Olina Golf Club was enough to seal the deal on Sunday and finish on 12 under - though at one stage it still seemed like anyone's tournament for the taking.
Miyazato lost her lead after a birdie at the sixth, bogeying both the ninth and 12th holes and looking more than a little shaky, but she found her touch at just the right time to birdie three of her last six holes and snuff out any challenge from her opponents.
The whirlwind finish still had Miyazato a little flustered.
"I don't know what happened," she said. "I just focused on my game. I was pretty nervous toward the end because I know everyone is playing so well. I had to finish really strong.
"I just keep saying to myself just to be patient and no rush," she added. "I've been playing so well this year."
Miyazato has been in good form this year, but on two occasions has finished second behind World No 1 Yani Tseng.
Did it feel good to beat her for a change?
It was very nice," Miyazato said, then laughed. "Honestly, she is so good. But, no, Yani has been playing really solid. It's so inspiring that she's playing so well. That's why I'm here. We're kind of inspiring each other."
Meena Lee, ahead early on the back nine and tied for the lead after a birdie at the 15th, had a 70 to tie for second with Azahara Munoz on eight under. Munoz finished with a 71.
Tseng shot a 74 to tie for 10th.
"I didn't play well today," Tseng said. "I didn't give myself lots of chances to make birdie. I don't know what happened. My distance was way off. Just not my day out there."
