Speculation over Europe's Ryder Cup team can finally end now after captain Jose Maria Olazabal named Ian Poulter and Nicolas Colsaerts as his wildcard picks.
Colsaerts and Poulter: Heading to Medinah
While the decision to hand world number 23 Poulter a place in the team hardly came as a surprise, there was debate beforehand over whether or not Olazabal would go with Padraig Harrington, a member of the last six sides, or Colsaerts.
Colsaerts, who will become the first Belgian to take part in the Ryder Cup, had a chance to book his automatic spot in the team by finishing in the top two at the Johnnie Walker Championship, but he finished well off the pace which meant Martin Kaymer got the final place.
The 29-year-old, though, will still make the trip to Medinah, Chicago, for the September 28-30 tournament as Olazabal opted to reward the two players who came closest to making the team on points.
Poulter finished 11th on the table and Colsaerts 12th while Harrington was down in 19th place.
The duo will be joined by world number one Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Graeme McDowell, Paul Lawrie, Francesco Molinari, Luke Donald, Lee Westwood, Sergio Garcia, Peter Hanson and Kaymer.
Olazabal, meanwhile, will have four vice-captains to assist him with Northern Ireland's Darren Clarke, Ireland's Paul McGinley, Denmark's Thomas Bjorn and Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez all part of the travelling party.
American are yet to confirm their full team with Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson, Jason Dufner, Keegan Bradley, Webb Simpson, Zach Johnson, Matt Kuchar and Phil Mickelson the automatic qualifiers so far.
US captain Davis Love III is set to name four wildcard picks on September 3.
